"Rachel from day one has taken the time and care to understand me, what I want to achieve and the journey I have been on so far. Because of her doing that, she has made me feel so relaxed, excited to train and also that I can be myself in each and every session.

I love running and have spent many years going to the gym but I have never really lifted weights and certainly not the amount I am I able to lift now! My goals were all about building strength, feeling toned and building up the confidence to use the weights at the gym and know that I am doing it right. I have watched plenty of strength training videos and can honestly say that they do not compare in the slightest to the support and knowledge you get from Rachel. I would have most likely been doing it wrong and caused myself an injury if I hadn't had the support of Rachel in explaining the detail of each movement and when to push yourself more and when to not!

3 months down the line and I am feeling stronger, more confident and have actually been able to walk into a gym and use weights and machines by myself without feeling out of place or embarrassed.

I haven't tracked measurements or weighed myself - for me this journey was all about feeling better inside and outside without becoming fixated on numbers on the scale or calorie counting. Rachel has understood that and has been an absolute star in supporting me at every session and also outside of sessions; that is invaluable."

"I started my online coaching with Rachel at the start of May. The arrival of three children over the past few years had really changed my life, less exercise and eating was not great. I was keen to get back to my old self. Rachel has been fantastic with dietary coaching, ensuring I am eating good meals and being consistent. I have gained back my love for cooking and find myself being more inventive rather than the same old meals. Consistency is the key as Rach always tells me. In addition, I have some great home bodyweight workouts which mean I don’t need to get to a gym which can be hard finding the time with kids. They are challenging and give me a great workout. I lost 12 pounds over the first month and feel so much stronger and fitter. The best advice Rachel has given is to just track calories. It means I can still have treats and if I’m over a little bit one day I just correct the next. Consistency is the key!"

"Having been the type of person who has been a member of most gyms in the local area and never gone, having a PT to motivate me is something I know I need.  I spent a lot of time researching options and Rachel really stood out to me - her genuine and caring nature shines through. "Being stuck indoors at the moment away from loved ones is so hard. But we’re also distanced from the people who help us feel more human & motivated, & good about ourselves (gosh I really miss my hairdresser!!).

Thanks to the virtual world tho I still get to see this lovely lady. Rachel Boddington Personal Trainer is such an amazing motivator in my life. I really believe if you feel strong in body you feel stronger in mind. I’d find it really hard right now without her support, especially as my main coping mechanism seems to be going off on an anxious tangent or devouring a whole pack of matchmakers in one go (orange if anyone is interested, tho I’d take mint 🤷‍♀️).
